MOLTEK Group announce that EUMETSAT (the European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites), has awarded a contract for the position of Spacecraft Operations Engineer for the MSG/MTP/MOP series of satellites. This long term position will support EUMETSAT in routine and anomaly operations of these different Geostationary satellites.
Eurocontrol (European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation) EEC (Paris – Brétigny): MOLTEK provide a new consultancy to be in charge of Web Content Management for a period up to three years.
MOLTEK are pleased to provide a project manager to give support to the Propulsion Equipment engineering team, providing documentary and other information inputs relating to the technical, quality, schedule and cost aspects of the products being procured via sub-contracts. In addition the project manager is maintaining specification and statements of work and providing progress reports and milestone achievements for the supplied products to higher management.
MOLTEK contracted by Boeing Satellite Systems to assist in the development and validation of satellite procedures and automated software procedures for the new DirecTV satellites.
BSS is in the process of developing and validating satellite operations products for the DirecTV 10, 11 and 12 satellites. MOLTEK was contracted to train BSS staff in development and validation methods, and to participate and assist BSS in this effort. MOLTEK also performed an extensive checkout of the satellite simulation environment to be used for the validation, and to assist in modifications to the environment to streamline the product validation process.
