The new profit centre is installed at Toulouse, French city well known as being a European industrial and governmental centre for Space and Aerospace activities. The main objective of the new company is†to develop IT consultancy services in France, one of the biggest European market in Space & Aerospace.
The Thuraya Satellite System is a regional mobile satellite-based telephony system that provides satellite telephone services to a region covering 99 countries. The Thuraya satellite was launched in Oct. 2000, and represents the fruition of years of development of new satellite technology by Boeing Satellite Systems (BSS).
Boeing Satellite Systems is redesigning the structure of its existing operationl procedures for use by a new satellite customer. The work will involve the development of new operational products from a combination of Boeing's existing manual and automatic procedures to accommodate differences in the customer's ground station architecture and operations platform.
MOLTEK's role in this effort will be to develop and deliver the new procedures for use in the customer's facility
MOLTEK has been awarded a 5 year contract to provide EUROCONTROL with expert support in the field of financial and economic project evaluation. Specifically, MOLTEK will be helping EUROCONTROL to define the methods of conducting cost benefit and financial analyses for investments in the EUROCONTROL Air Traffic Management Programme.
