Dec. 2002 - MOLTEK is chosen to prepare for, manage and staff satellite operations for the THURAYA D1 satellite.

In 2003, control of the THURAYA D1 satellite will be assumed from Boeing Satellite Systems Mission Control Center in El Segundo, CA. MOLTEK has been chosen to take responsibility for planning the transition of control and all subsequent operations, to train the MOLTEK operations staff prior to taking control, and to manage and staff the operations.
